The argument in favor of using filler text goes something like this: If you use any real content in the Consulting Process anytime you reach.

Almost every rider who fails to get up on a wakeboard first time makes the same mistake: they try to stand up far too early. The boat has barely built any speed, the board is still ploughing through the water, and they straighten their legs and get tipped forward. The result is a mouthful of lake and a slightly bruised ego.
Here's the reassuring part. Getting up isn't a strength test. It's a timing and body position puzzle, and you can rehearse most of it on dry land before you ever touch the water. If you can crouch, hold a handle and stay patient for two seconds, you can do this.
In deep water, float on your back with the board on your feet. Draw your knees up towards your chest so the board sits in front of you, close enough to hug. Press your heels down and lift your toes slightly — this keeps the tip of the board above the surface and stops it digging in. Angle the board roughly at right angles to the boat, perhaps tipped ten or twenty degrees towards it, so the pull doesn't drag you sideways.
Now take the handle with both hands, palms down. Hold it low, down near your knees rather than up at your chest, and keep your arms straight and outside your knees. The rope should be taut with no slack when the driver takes up the tension.
Agree your call before the engine even starts. Shout "hit it" when you're ready, and ask the driver to accelerate smoothly rather than slam the throttle. A steady, progressive pull is far easier to ride than a sudden yank — and if you're behind a personal watercraft or a boat with a small engine, it matters even more.
As the boat takes up the slack, resist the urge to do anything dramatic. Let the rope pull your arms long and let the water pressure push the board against your feet. Stay curled up in your tucked position and let the boat do the work of lifting you. Think of yourself as a ball being rolled onto the surface rather than a person trying to jump up.
When you're wakeboarding behind a boat with a tower, expect a bit more upward lift; behind a lower tow point, you'll feel the pull more horizontally. Either way, the tucked position is the same.
Once you feel the board start to plane and the drag drop away — usually after just a second or two — that's your moment. Roll your hips forward and shift your weight onto your front foot, keeping your knees bent and your chest up. Your legs should unfurl rather than snap straight.
Keep your elbows slightly in, your shoulders relaxed and your gaze level at the horizon or the back of the boat. Looking down at your feet is the fastest way to fall forwards, because your body follows your head. If the board feels like it's sinking, bend your knees a little more and lean back a fraction.
If you're wakesurfing instead, the start is very similar but the board sits flatter and the rope is only a tool for getting up. Once you're steady, hold the handle in one hand, let the boat's wake build behind you, and drop the rope to ride the wave.
Almost every failed attempt traces back to one of a handful of habits. Fix these and your success rate climbs quickly.
On the water, take three or four attempts, then rest and reset. Tired riders drag their feet and stand early. Practise the tuck position on a rug at home, handle held low, and say the sequence out loud: wait, plane, roll, stand. Shorten the rope slightly if you're on a small board, and choose a bigger, more buoyant board for your first sessions — it planes at lower speeds and forgives a clumsy start.
Finally, give yourself permission to fall. Most riders get up on their second or third go once they stop fighting the boat. Relax, tuck in, wait for the board to plane, then roll up and ride.
