buying shit...

Toying with the idea of buying myself a wakeboard as am getting frustrated watching everyone go over the jumps @ jbs and not having my own board... Don't really want to spend as much as £400 on a new package thing (i.e. board + bindings), but really have no idea what to look for second hand - had a look at ebay but a bit lost really.
What do i look for in a wakeboard (remember i've only just started this year...)
binding i have no clue - suction, laces, what, what, what...
and how cheap do you reckon i can get board + bindings second hand - is £150 optimistic?
see you weds, rob.

i think your best bet is to go for HO wakeboards they are good beginners wakeboards at the moment they are going for 200-250£ and for bindings i yould go for a reduced pair of CWB torq a tidy package my first package was 299£ for O BRIEN

Hey man,
There's a cheap board for sale at JB's £80 all in including bindings. Thinks it would be good enough for hitting the kickers. Think it's a basic jobe or CWB or something with large jobe bindings i think.
Check it out, it's in the changing room,
Jason

I am another random friend of the handsome Rambo. If you do have someone in the United States then try ebay.com - the american site or www.wakeworld.com (the for-sale forums) for some great deals - get the contact to bring it back to the UK - its dirt cheap out there. If you they dont get stung by customs (which wont happen) - then ure in the money.
Baggy
Ps - To those of you i have met at JB - hello - to those i am yet to meet - see you soon - may the summer roll on! no more cold feet!
